Ugarit and Puppies - 28th January

Asalet Aslan

This is Asalet Aslan being weighed on Saturday evening. When born he weighed 770g and when weighed again last night he weighed 910g. He is growing and eating as puppies do and he has the making of an excellent dog and it will be great to watch his and the others progress over the weeks.

Puppies - 26th January 08

This photograph shows Ugarit with her puppies on Saturday 26th January. They are just over 24 hours old. Mother and all puppies doing well. Ugarit is the good mother we always knew she would be. From a very young age she has always been fascinated by puppies and little dogs.

The puppies are weighed daily and already gaining weight very steadily.

Friday, 25th January 2008 and the puppies have started to arrive. Watch this space.

Varlik and the Sheep

I couldn't resist posting this photograph as I think it is wonderful and typifies the Anatolian Shepherd Dog. The bitch in this photo is Varlik from the Shumagins Kennel in France. She is the mother of our new boy Cesur who arrives in the UK in April when he will have finished his quarantine.

Ugarit - 19th January 2008

Here is Ugarit on the 19th January - she probably has just over a week to go now and she is in excellent health. We took her to the vet today for a check-up and he was very pleased with her.

As you will see from this video she just not stop wagging her tail which shows how happy she is and positively blooming in this pregnancy. We are absolutely sure she will be a good mum.

PUPPIES EXPECTED SOON

Asalet Anatolians are pleased to announce that they are execting puppies on or about the 28th January 2008.

The mating is between Racham and Ugarit photographed below.

We have gone back to France for this mating so this will be a litter completely unrelated to anything else currently in the UK.

We are members of the Kennel Club Accredited Breeder Scheme.

This is Cesur

This is Cesur. He is our new puppy and is currently finishing his quarantine over in France. We are expecting him to be with us in April 2008. We can't wait and are very excited.
